Was there a need for it?

Yes there was need for it; reason is that Jesus is no ordinary human being. He is the greatest phenomenon that ever lives.

His life defies natural laws that even his enemies’ acknowledge. Some of which are:

1. Virgin Birth: Given birth to by a virgin, first King to be born in a manger, showing and portraying the way humility should be practice in a fair and just society, there should be no discrimination because we all have one father and God. He taught humanity that act of humility by his humble birth.

2. Temptation: After fasting for forty days and night, the devil came to tempt him hoping to defeat him as he did to Adam.

The Out come of that encounter is what the devil will for ever not forget in a hurry. He was very disappointed especially after the third and final temptation as in, displaying the kingdoms of the world and their glory in a second. Luke 4:7

Worship me and it will all be yours, I tell you the truth Jesus knew that Satan will live to hi word, yes he does, and the earth glory is an awesome splendors of the power and wisdom of God almighty, had it been that way, Christ will now be reigning over what the devil is at the moment, but he will answer to his new master the devil.

Glory to God that it never went that way, Away from me Satan was the instantaneous response in form of a deadly missile and the devil wasted no second to vanish in thin air.

3. Raising Lazarus: Few miracles in the Bible can measure up to what happen when Lazarus came back to life from the grave: Hell was let loose. A force greater than death had death at his mercy by bringing back his beloved from the grave before he made his much anticipated journey to hell by himself, he said of my own I freely lay down my life of my own, no one take it away from me. Jn 10:18.

The devil thought he was in charge by manipulating the Jews to crucify Jesus, he never knew that God was manipulating him the (devil) to do his own (God) bidding by killing Christ to save humanity.

That's why Christ say no one take it from me, i lay it down of my own free will.

4. Resurrection: Wow, this is the difference between Christianity and all other religion on earth. Christ the founder is still alive after dying more than 2000 years ago.

Not many people understand this mystery, but the truth his, Jesus arose on Sunday morning and he live in Jerusalem by all records for forty days, that is one full month and 10 days before he was taken to heaven in the presence of the believers and the apostles.

These are the four fundamental truths about Christianity. It is founded on mysteries that defy natural laws, so it is understandable when other religions are always at variance and in conflict with the teachings of Christianity.
